Members

New Question Type for Questionnaires

Questionnaires can now have number range questions! When you see a number range question, use the up and down arrow buttons to find your answer, then press the OK button to select it.

This question type is available on UniTV HD, UniTV Direct, and the Uniper App.

Setup Wizard Welcome Video

There is now a welcome video that will play after you finish the Setup Wizard on your UniTV device! If you set up your box before this update, you can find the video in your video library under ‘Welcome to Uniper’.

Uniper Remote Tutorial

To help you understand and use your Uniper Remote, we have added a tutorial after you finish your Setup Wizard to teach you the basics of the Uniper Remote. If you finished your Setup Wizard before this update, you can find the tutorial in your Settings tile, or you can learn more about it here.

NOTE: The Uniper Remote tutorial is only for UniTV members. If you are a UniTV member but don’t see the remote tutorial in your Settings, your tutorial may not be active yet; you can contact our Support Team at 1-888-471-7623 or support@unipercare.com to learn more!

Weekly Schedule

You may see a new tile appear on your home screen titled ‘Weekly Schedule’. Similar to the Live Activities tile, this screen lets you see all the Live Activities screen available to you this week and join any activities that are live now.

Version Number

We have added the version number next to the Uniper logo on the Home Screen. This will help aide our support team and keep track of updates.

Care Partners

New Question Type for Questionnaires

Questionnaires now allow for number range questions like the ones shown above! This allows questionnaires to utilize HRQOLs (Health-Related Quality of Life Measurements). Members can use the up and down arrow buttons on their Uniper remote to scroll between choices and press the OK button to select their choice.

This question type is available on UniTV HD, UniTV Direct, and the Uniper App.

NOTE: All published questionnaires will be able to support both question formats: single choice and number ranges.

Setup Wizard Welcome Video

To ensure that members see their welcome video, we have added a welcome video that plays automatically in the Setup Wizard after approving the Terms of Use. You can see an example from a welcome video above.

NOTE: If there are no welcome videos set up for your members, the setup wizard will skip to the Uniper Remote Tutorial.

Uniper Remote Tutorial

To help UniTV users better understand the Uniper Remote that comes with their device, we have added a Uniper Remote Tutorial after the welcome video. If it is turned on it guides members through a series of steps that teach them how to use the basic remote controls, and can be accessed again at any time from the UniTV Settings menu.

Configuring the Uniper Remote Tutorial

You can turn the Uniper Remote Tutorial off and on at a care partner level by logging into UniManage, opening the Setup dropdown, then going to the Media Content Management tab.

Weekly Schedule

To make live activities easier to view and access, we have added a Weekly Schedule tile to the UniTV home screen. The Weekly Schedule displays all of the live activities available to a member for the whole week, and will eventually replace the Live Activities screen. You can learn more about how to use the Weekly Schedule here.

Configuring the Weekly Schedule

Super admins can turn the Weekly Schedule tile and the Live Activities tile on or off by logging into UniManage, opening the Setup dropdown, then going to the Media Content Management tab.

Version Number
