Uniper Calls: Calling Feature For Members

The Uniper Calling Feature lets you reach out and connect with your family and care providers, no matter where they may be located! UniTV Setup

The new Uniper Calling feature allows you to stay in touch with your family members directly through your UniTV! All you need is your UniTV account and a family member you want to call! You can follow the instructions in the video above, or follow the instructions shown below to get started!

Add Your First Contact

Let’s start from your UniTV home screen: Use your UniMote remote to navigate to the Calls tile. Once you’ve found the tile, select it using the OK button.

When you open the Calls tile for the first time, your UniTV will ask you to add a contact.

  1. Start by using the OK button to select ‘Invite family members’.

  2. Next, select the country code for the family member you want to add.

  3. Now enter their 10-digit phone number using your UniMote remote; you can navigate between the numbers on screen using the up, down, left, and right buttons, or you can hold down the mic button and say the number directly into the remote! Once you’ve put the number in, press the OK button to move on to the next step.

  4. Your family member will receive a SMS text message with a link to download the Uniper app. Once they have the app downloaded, they can accept your invitation to connect!

You are now ready to start making calls!

Adding Additional Family Members

After you’ve added your first family member, you can add new family members inside the Calls menu!

Start by navigating to and selecting the Calls tile, then use the right arrow to navigate to the ‘Add new contact’ Tile.

Your UniTV will now take you through the same steps it took you through to set up your first contact:

  1. Start by using the OK button to select ‘Invite family members’.

  2. Next, select the country code for the family member you want to add.

  3. Now enter their 10-digit phone number using your UniMote remote; you can navigate between the numbers on screen using the up, down, left, and right buttons, or you can hold down the mic button and say the number directly into the remote! Once you’ve put the number in, press the OK button to move on to the next step.

  4. Your family member will receive a SMS text message with a link to download the Uniper app. Once they have the app downloaded, they can accept your invitation to connect!

WARNING: A contact cannot be added to more than one member account at a time. If you receive an error while trying to add a contact, please contact our Support Team at 1-888-471-7623 or support@unipercare.com!

Making Calls

Inside the Calls menu, you can call contacts you have added. To call someone from the Calls Menu:

  1. Navigate to that contact using left and right buttons on your UniMote remote.

  2. Select the caller using the OK button on your remote.

  3. If that contact is available and answers, your call will start! You can turn your audio or video on and off by navigating to that option on your screen and pressing the OK button.

  4. If that contact doesn’t answer your call or the call doesn’t connect, you'll see one of the messages below. If you want to try again, just press the back button on your UniMote remote and select that family member to attempt another call!
